EMMETT Technique, an Australian therapy developed by Ross Emmett, is a unique and non-invasive body therapy that focuses on releasing tension and promoting balance within the body. Through gentle touch and targeted movements, EMMETT Technique works on specific points on the body, facilitating the release of muscle restrictions and enhancing overall well-being.
This is a gentle finger pressure on certain points to allow the body to relax within the soft tissue, resetting the muscle memory. Using the two fingers together is like creating an electrical circuit within the body.

THE BENEFITS
HOW DOES IT WORK?
By applying light pressure to specific points on the client's body, the nervous system registers the information and the brain responds by sending new instructions back to affect the physical state of the body.
WHAT DOES A SESSION INVOLVE?
A session lasts approximately 30 minutes depending on the number of adjustments that need to be applied. The body is assessed to see which areas need to be balanced or released. The client can remain clothed throughout the session.
Sessions can be carried out on site or place of work and can accommodate groups of people at work or sports clubs etc.
DO I NEED EMMETT TECHNIQUE?
Emmett Technique is used to bring balance back to the body and reduce discomfort. It can also be used to enhance sports techniques and movement as well as a body maintenance program to help reduce more serious problems at a later date as a result of ongoing imbalances or injury.
Using Emmett Technique for staff in the workplace can be used as a management program to prevent injury and reduce staff absences. Investing in staff wellbeing has been shown to be a great investment for companies.
